Mrs. Cathy Schneible, Science Lab K-4
Mrs. Cathy Schneible is the resource teacher at Notre Dame of Bethlehem responsible for planning and teaching science labs to kindergarten through 4th grade students. She also assists the 5th through 8th grade science teachers with their lab activities. Mrs. Schneible graduated from SUNY-Cortland with a bachelor of science degree and proceeded to earn her masters of education from East Stroudsburg University.
She started her career as a teacher-counselor in Pittsburgh, at a school for children with emotional and behavioral disorders. This experience solidified her belief that all children can learn and behave, so they can be successful, contributing members of society – a belief that still guides her teaching philosophy. She began teaching at ND as a substitute, but soon after accepted the science/lab resource teacher position.
Mrs. Schneible loves spending time outdoors with her husband and kids. She is also an active member of Notre Dame parish where she serves as a Eucharistic minister and is a member of the parish women's group.
