Ms. Donna Moser, 2A
Ms. Donna Moser is a Notre Dame of Bethlehem alum who has been teaching at Notre Dame for over 13 years. She earned her master's degree in elementary education from Lehigh University and a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from Moravian College. She also has a Master Catechist Certificate from the Diocese of Allentown. Other notable honors include receiving the 2015 Judith's Reading Room June Volunteer of the Month Award and the 2013 Colonial Association of Reading Educators Celebrate Literacy Award.
Ms. Moser regularly attends professional development workshops and classes in the areas of language arts, writing, reading, math, science and technology. She is currently the School Ambassador for the Colonial Association of Reading Educators and previously served as the Past President-Elect and Programs Chair. She also belongs to the Keystone State Reading Association and the International Reading Association.
At Notre Dame, she is involved in a number of teacher and student activities including serving as a religion coordinator for Grades K-4, a Library Club moderator, Homework Club moderator and a Peer Tutor facilitator. She also sits on the Diocesan Science Committee and served as Past Virtue Committee Chair and Co-Chair.
As an active parish member, she participates in the Notre Dame Dollars program, Women's Group activities and the Adult Parish Retreat Reunion Events. In the community, she serves as a summer volunteer for Allentown Public Library's Books 'N Bagels Program.
Ms. Moser loves teaching students and seeing their spiritual, academic, social and personal progress throughout the year. When she's not teaching, she likes to read, write, travel, attend plays and concerts and spend time with her family.
