Mrs. Paula Karabasz, 6B
Mrs. Karabasz, 6th grade, teaches 5th and 6th grade science at Notre Dame. She has been teaching at Notre Dame for 14 years.
Mrs. Karabasz received her bachelor’s of science from Dickinson College, a masters in education from Moravian College and an MBA from Drexel University. She is part of the Diocesan Science Curriculum Committee, the Notre Dame Science Fair Coordinator, a former Da Vinci Science Fellow and a judge for the Lehigh University Science and Engineering Fair. She is also the G.I.V.E. committee coordinator and the faculty advisor for the school newspaper (the Knightly News) and co-advisor for the Young Scientists Club. She was recently nominated as “Teacher of the Week” on local radio station, WLEV.
She loves dogs and in her spare time likes spinning class, reading and traveling. She and her husband met in college and have two adult children who also went to Notre Dame. Mrs. Karabasz strongly believes that each children are all unique learners, capable of achieving their fullest potential. As Nelson Mandela said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
