Box Tops for Education: This committee spearheads our participation in the General Mills sponsored Box Tops for Education program. Send in the Box Tops from qualified products, and we will make sure they are submitted in return for cash. Volunteers are asked to count the box tops over specific weekends, and return the bundled and counted box tops to the committee chair. (Learn more about the program at boxtops4education.com.)

Campbell’s Labels: This committee oversees our collection of Campbell’s labels in an ongoing effort to provide as many resources for our school as possible. Volunteers are needed to help count and bundle labels.

Ecumenical Soup Kitchen: Throughout the year, several campaigns are held in support of the less fortunate served by the soup kitchen. Among these campaigns are the annual winter coat collection and Christmas toy collection. This committee can always use a hand keeping up with the collections.

Holiday: Wonder how those St. Nick treats were distributed, or where the donuts came from on Fastnacht Day? These, and other holiday treats, are the work of this committee. All helping hands are appreciated. Volunteer for a specific holiday, or for all of them!

Home Room Parents: This committee keeps track of everyone who volunteers to help out as a home room parent. Look for signup sheets at Back to School Night. Home room parents then coordinate class volunteers to provide treats, paper goods and fun activities for classroom parties.

Hospitality: This committee provides hospitality for a variety of school related affairs such as our Grandparents Luncheon, meals for teachers during Parent/Teacher conferences, and a special staff appreciation luncheon during Catholic Schools Week. Volunteers are needed for set-up, and clean up.

Marathon: This committee is the largest HSA committee. There is always room for volunteers for this fundraising event which culminates in a one-day, school-wide celebration. Planning begins in late July for the Marathon which is held in early October. Be a part of the biggest event of the year; there is something for everyone either on the day itself, or the planning leading up to it. Many hands make light work

Christmas Wreath Sale: This committee collects orders for Christmas wreaths, Christmas logs and beautiful poinsettias Volunteers help sort the delivery.

Santa Shop: This committee is responsible for many smiling faces on Christmas Day as our proud children share their gifts with their parents. This committee makes the purchases, and schedules the volunteers to work the Santa Shop. Volunteers help the children shop, add up purchases, and ring up sales.

Uniform Exchange: This committee collects used, good condition uniform pieces to redistribute to Notre Dame families. Volunteers help with set up/clean up on Exchange days.

Joe Corbi Pizza Sale: This committee collects and tabulates orders for pizza, pies, cookies and other goodies. Volunteers are needed to help on delivery day.
